This is the Skygarden pendant lamp, an iconic design by Dutch designer Marcel Wanders for the Italian brand FLOS. What makes it so special is the surprising contrast between the sleek, modern exterior and the classic, almost antique interior. The lamp has a diameter of 90 cm and a glossy black, dome-shaped shade. The inside is a true work of art made of white plaster, decorated with a detailed floral and leaf relief, inspired by an old ceiling Wanders had in a previous home. This combination provides beautiful diffused light and an unexpected decorative element when you look under the lamp. This Skygarden is in excellent condition and comes with the original booklet. It is a real eye-catcher that fits both modern and more classic interiors. It looks fantastic above a large dining table or as a central light point in a living room with a high ceiling.
