Exceptional pair of majolica trumpet vases with snake and bird, in the style of Palissy, late 19th century.
Striking set of trumpet-shaped ceramic vases with a wavy, ruffle-like rim. A detailed snake coils around the neck, while a bird sits among leaves and flowers on the round base at the bottom. Executed in warm ochre tones with accents in pink, green, and terracotta — typical of nineteenth-century naturalist majolica in the style of Palissy.
A decorative and striking duo that guarantees character in any room.
