A small table object that already tells the story of the first steps of a French porcelain house. This elegant box brings together four Maison Manoï coasters, from the early creations of the Bordeaux-based house, made of porcelain in Bát Tràng, a Vietnamese village whose ceramic tradition dates back several centuries. Each hexagonal piece, with delicately softened angles, is adorned with white porcelain, against which a deep blue decoration stands out. At the center appears the iconic M of the Héritage collection, surrounded by an ornamental motif inspired by classical designs. This M has a particularly endearing story. A way for the founder to bring family legacy to the heart of the table, precisely where generations gather. The coasters belong to Maison Manoï's beginnings, when its porcelains were made in Bát Tràng, near Hanoi, a historic mecca for the ceramic arts. The original label preserved on the box still bears witness to this. Hand-painted porcelain from the village of Bát Tràng. The house's story would then continue its journey to Limoges, an emblematic territory of French porcelain, where Maison Manoï now develops some of its creations and custom pieces. This box thus becomes a charming testament to the early years of a house that chose to bring together porcelain expertise, legacy, and the art of entertaining. The deep blue of the case, embossed with the Maison Manoï crest in gold, wonderfully completes the set. Once arranged on a table, these four coasters become small decorative elements in their own right, as pleasing under a glass as alongside beautiful white or blue and white tableware. Maison Manoï, Héritage Collection. Set of 4 porcelain coasters. Bát Tràng, Vietnam. Approximately 9 × 10 cm. Original Maison Manoï box.
