A very fine Louis XVI style mahogany flat desk, crafted to a very high standard, with three drawers in the front and resting on four tapered legs ending in gilt brass sabots.
The top is edged with a brass molding and covered with a gilt leather top, in excellent condition, lending a classic charm and timeless elegance to the piece.
The ornamentation is rich: keyhole escutcheons, handles, drawer frames, and side panels are all in gilt bronze. The piece demonstrates meticulous craftsmanship and fine furniture making from the early 20th century.
An ideal piece for an office, library, or a classic interior seeking a refined and functional piece of furniture.
