Italian magazine rack with gilded metal and smoked glass, made by/for Fonart Spa (see sticker).
'Christallo Molato' refers to the type of glass; it refers to clear, high-quality cut glass comparable in appearance and quality to crystal.
In the mid-20th century, this was popular for designer accessories. This one is 40 cm wide, 29 cm deep, and 40.5 cm high.
Some wear and rust, but definitely a beautiful patina, considering its age.
