Product description
Superb (and rare) "Modell 711" two-seater sofa designed in 1960 by Norwegian designer Fredrik A. Kayser and produced by Vatne Lenestolfabrikk. A major figure in Scandinavian design, Kayser is renowned for his clean, elegant lines, which still set the standard today.
This rare model features a solid wood frame with sculpted arms and a slightly undulating seat, emblematic of the organic style of the 60s. Unlike the "Modell 711" armchair reissued by Hjelle (at a price of €3300/piece), the sofa version is only available in vintage.
The example presented here has been recently reupholstered in an anthracite-gray fabric, highlighting the warmth of the wood and offering sober, refined comfort.
