Rare pair of mouth-blown Murano glass flutes, with a slender and elegant silhouette, adorned with a twist of cobalt blue, ruby red ribbons and opalescent threads from the bowl to the colorless glass disc base. Purchased individually in a luxury boutique on Rue du Bac in Paris, in the 1990s. The original label was removed at the time, but the style, the place of purchase and especially the proportions of the bowl - almost identical to those of the historic "3/62" collection from the Nason (Murano) house, still produced today - strongly suggest this attribution. Hand-blown pieces, with the slight natural variations inherent in artisanal work. Specifications: Height: 21 cm Opening diameter: 6 cm Base diameter: 5.5 cm Weight: 159 g and 179 g Signature/label: None (removed upon purchase) Attribution: Nason, Murano (uncertified) Period: 1990s Condition: Very good general condition, no visible chips or cracks Provenance: Purchased in a luxury boutique, Rue du Bac, Paris, 90s.
