Unique Dutch Design object / small side table with cup and saucer, by Louise Cohen, design Life is a Party.
The object consists of a white cup and saucer on a black metal stand with a heavy square base.
The design is intended as a playful and compact alternative to a small side table or coffee table.
The cup is marked on the bottom: Dudson – Finest Vitrified – BVS 4034 – Stoke-on-Trent – England
This is consistent with the use of sturdy hotel/restaurant porcelain, as is fitting for this design. The object is in used vintage condition. The black base and stand show visible signs of use, scratches, and some lacquer wear. The tableware part is neat, with light signs of use. See photos for condition.
