We are offering a beautiful, late 19th-century folding gaming table by Paul Sormani for sale. Crafted from solid mahogany, the table features high-quality brass fittings on the tabletop and unique fluting on the legs. The design is by Paul Sormani, an Italian cabinetmaker who opened his workshop in Paris in 1847. He gained considerable renown when Empress Eugénie, wife of Napoleon III, furnished his palaces with Sormani's creations.
