Product description
Elegant Louis XV style curved Chest of drawers, made in France at the end of the 19th century. It features beautiful marquetry veneer decoration with geometric patterns and opens with two large drawers on the front. Its undulating line, with curved front and sides, rests on four cabriole legs. The Chest of drawers is enriched with significant bronze ornamentation including handles, keyholes, corner drops, and sabots. It is topped with a molded red marble top that follows the curves of the furniture. Beautiful old patina. Good general condition considering its age, with some missing parts and old restorations to the veneer, as well as slight chips and traces of use on the marble, visible in the photographs.
