Product description
This beautiful Louis XV-style desk is crafted from mahogany and amaranth veneer and exemplifies the refinement of the Rococo style. The desk features two scalloped cabinets at the waist, each housing three drawers at the front. The movable crosspieces are supported by curved feet. The lines of the furniture are accentuated by bronze embellishments, including pearl friezes, acanthus motifs, and double struts with foliate fleurons. The Rococo doorknobs, openwork exploded pomegranate decorations, and gilded bronze claw feet add to the piece's unique character. The top is covered in leather and features small gilded iron ornaments.
The desk comes with its original key, and the leather inlay is in good condition.
