This set of two bedside tables was designed by Louis van Teeffelen for the Dutch manufacturer Wébé in the 1960s. A beautiful design belonging to the Kastrup series, which was in the most luxurious segment at the time.
The bedside tables are crafted from the finest teak wood and feature characteristic sculptural handles. They stand on slender, tapered legs connected by a curved crossbar, which contributes to the airy appearance of the design. The warm brown color of the wood and the refined finish are typical of the style of Van Teeffelen and Wébé.
The set is in excellent condition.
Free from rings and stains, with a fresh new finish, making it resistant to daily use.
These bedside tables fit perfectly in a bedroom with a Mid-Century Modern or Scandinavian interior. They offer practical storage space next to the bed, or serve as a side table in your living room, and immediately add timeless Dutch design to the space. Dimensions: W 60, H 48, D 34 cm.
