Authentic lounge chair for sale, designed by Dutch designer Louis van Teeffelen for the manufacturer WéBé (circa 1960).
This iconic Mid-Century Modern design is distinguished by its dynamic scissor-like structure and finely contoured, sculptural armrests.
Features and Authenticity Points:
> Materials: Solid teak frame (beautiful golden patina).
> Dimensions: Height 88 cm (very ergonomic, medium height).
> Upholstery: Red faux leather (good condition, see photos below in the description).
> Quality Details: Backrest finished without visible nails (invisible assembly typical of high-end WéBé) and original faux brass glides with rubber protectors.
Condition: Beautiful vintage condition. The frame is stable and the wood has been well-maintained. The seat is comfortable (firm foam).
A statement piece ideal for complementing a vintage or Scandinavian interior.
Details: Armchair purchased from a Belgian antique dealer.
Stored in a smoke-free and pet-free home.
