Vintage lounge chair designed by Louis van Teeffelen for Dutch manufacturer WéBé, dating from the 1960s.
A beautiful example of Dutch mid-century design, characterised by its elegant sculptural wooden frame, slender tapered legs and distinctive long, organically shaped armrests.
The chair was reupholstered approximately five years ago in a light cream bouclé fabric. The upholstery has recently been cleaned and is in neat used condition.
A small, light discolouration/stain remains visible on the seat; please see the photos. It is hardly noticeable.
The original wooden frame is in beautiful vintage condition with minor signs of use consistent with its age. Its natural grain, patina and characteristic construction details have been preserved.
