The iconic PH5 pendant lamp by Louis Poulsen, designed by Poul Henningsen in 1958. One of the most famous designs in Danish design history and now a true classic. Poul Henningsen designed the PH5 according to his well-known principle of multiple reflective shades. The different layers distribute and reflect the light, creating pleasant and almost glare-free illumination. The name PH5 refers to the 50-centimeter diameter of the largest shade. This piece is executed in dark grey/anthracite and white, with turquoise accents and copper-colored details. The different colors and layers become visible differently from every viewing angle and enhance the characteristic layered design of the PH5. The lamp is in very neat used condition with some light signs of wear consistent with normal use. It is special that this piece comes complete with the original Louis Poulsen canopy, the original box, and the certificate. The lamp is equipped with an E27 socket, also known as a large socket, and is suitable for use with an LED light source.
