Vintage pendant lamp designed by Poul Henningsen for Louis Poulsen under model number PH5. Poul Henningsen developed the PH 5 in 1958 in response to the constant changes in the shape and size of light bulbs by incandescent lamp manufacturers, and he named it after the size of the pendant lamp's main screen, as it is 50 cm in diameter.
Louis Poulsen was founded by Louis Poulsen in 1874. The company is known for its high-quality lamps. The lamp of the ad concerns one original PH5 from the 1960s. The lamp is even adjustable in height with the original adjustment system.
