The Louis Poulsen PH Artichoke 72 Pendant Lamp is a design by the world-renowned designer and architect Poul Henningsen. The design of this true design classic is based on the drawings of the refined PH Septima pendant lamp, which Henningsen designed in the period between 1927 and 1931. Whereas the Septima lamp consists of seven shades of sandblasted glass, the Artichoke pendant lamp is constructed from seventy-two separate leaves arranged in twelve unique rows of six leaves. These interact with the light in such a way that it is reflected in a special manner.
