Product description
An original vintage Flowerpot VP1, designed by Verner Panton for Louis Poulsen. The Flowerpot was designed in 1968 and grew into one of the most famous icons of Danish design from the 60s and 70s.
The design consists of two opposing hemispheres: the large top shade and the smaller reflector underneath. This causes the light to be reflected in a characteristic way, creating a pleasant, atmospheric light without a direct view into the light source.
This original vintage example is made of orange enameled metal. The lamp is in very beautiful condition and has been fully polished. The enamel is exceptionally well preserved. There is one small chip in the enamel, consistent with its age and visible in the photo.
The lamp is fitted with a new orange fabric cord, matching the original color and appearance of the design.
A particularly well-preserved example of a true Danish design classic, in the characteristic orange of that period.
