Small oil on panel depicting a beach and some ruined architectural elements. Signed "L. Carembat" (lower right).
Located, titled, and dated on the reverse of the panel: "Côte de Granville, Jersey, August 1898."
Unframed.
W 34.5 cm x H 25.5 cm x 0.6 cm thick.
Slight yellowing of the varnish. Traces of a previous frame on the edges.
Louis Carembat (1866-1950) was a painter and decorator of art, originally from Paris, who settled in Dinan in the 1920s where he ran an art shop.
