Rare and magnificent set of 5 square dessert or cake plates in art ceramic from the Swedish manufacturer Töreboda. Created by the renowned designer Christer Heijl in the 1960s-1970s, this modernist period design captivates with its superb reactive glaze in a brilliant olive green color. The rim is beautifully highlighted by a geometric frieze of molded white stripes and dots in relief, a textured graphic typical of Scandinavian design. The underside features the official period signature embossed in the ceramic, along with the famous Töreboda logo in its cartouche. A robust and very elegant example of Northern European art tableware.
