Longwy Ceramic Platter ‘Pigalle’ Signed on the back 1960 Perfect condition Diameter 34 cm Height 2 cm €590 This Longwy ceramic platter, 'Pigalle' model, is a representative piece of French production from the 1960s. It is distinguished by its abstract and geometric motif, characteristic of the modernist aesthetic of that era. Made of glazed ceramic, this platter features a vibrant polychrome composition, combining flat areas of black, blue, yellow, pink, and green. The cloisonné enamel technique, emblematic of the Longwy factory, gives a particular texture and depth to the colors. The back of the piece bears the factory's signature, the model name 'Pigalle', as well as the inscription 'Made in France' and the number 3449.
