A large Danish mid-century teak chest of drawers from the 1960s. Its exceptionally long, low silhouette and clean lines exemplify the minimalist Scandinavian furniture design of the period. The front is divided into nine generously sized drawers. The absence of visible handles creates a particularly serene appearance and allows the warm, vibrant grain of the teak to take center stage. Dark shadow gaps between the drawers further emphasize the straight, horizontal lines. The chest rests on a simple, slightly recessed plinth, which underscores the functional nature of the design. With its nine drawers, it offers ample storage space and is ideally suited as a sideboard in the living or dining area, as well as a spacious chest of drawers in the bedroom. A timeless and expressive piece of furniture. Condition: Good vintage condition with age-related wear. Minor scratches, abrasions, and occasional dents are present. There is a more noticeable chip on one of the rear upper edges. Dimensions: L183 x W45 x H67
