A small porcelain vase in the famous "Tulip" shape, produced by the Lomonosov Porcelain Factory, formerly the Leningrad Porcelain Factory (LFZ), now located in St. Petersburg. The elegant, spherical form with a narrow neck and a flower-like, wavy rim was designed in 1936 by S. E. Yakovleva. The "Pink Tulips" decoration by L. I. Grigorieva dates from 1978. The white vase is hand-decorated with a large pink tulip blossom, delicate blue branches, and gold accents. The base mark reads: "Hand Decorated · LFZ · 1744 · St. Petersburg · Russia". Based on the mark and provenance, this piece was likely made around 2002. The vase entered a private family collection directly from St. Petersburg in 2002. It is in very good, well-maintained condition. No damage or restorations have been documented.
