This set of four Lollipop chairs is designed by František Jirák for Tatra Nábytok, the Czechoslovak manufacturer, dating from the 1960s. The design is a hallmark of Czechoslovak mid-century production, pairing a sculpted, bent plywood backrest with a distinctive oval cutout handle and slim, splayed compass legs. Each chair has been fully refurbished with a matte finish to the wood, new foam padding, and fresh upholstery, making the set both a design statement and ready for daily use around a dining table. Condition and Character Fully refurbished condition. The wooden shells have been refinished to a matte finish and the seats reupholstered with new foam and fabric, so the chairs present cleanly overall.
