She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Aarhus from 1964 to 1965, then ran an arts and crafts store in Horsens for two years, and returned to Drakabygget in 1968 after Jørgen Nash proposed to her. In enamel painting, she was able to combine play and dance with a free imagination and colorful heritage, which she received from the painters of Nordic expressionism.
