Product description
Lithograph NOTRE-DAME DE MYANS" (Our Lady of Myans). Under the title, there is a prayer. Another section mentions: "S.G. MONSEIGNEUR ANTOINE MARTINET, ARCHEVÊQUE DE CHAMBÉRY" A note of indulgence follows. On the paper held up to the light, a watermark can be seen which reads: ALA and the shape of a bell. Notre-Dame de Myans: It is a very ancient and venerated Marian sanctuary located in Myans, in Savoy (France), near Chambéry. It is particularly known for its Black Virgin (Notre-Dame de la Nativité). The print dates back to the period in which he was Archbishop, therefore between 1828 and 1839. Measurements approximately 35x47. Material: Watermarked paper. Condition: Good, free of tears, with stains due to age, signs of folding.
