In 1947, Jacques Doucet met Corneille (1922-2010), who involved him in the Dutch Experimental Group in Holland (1948). He designed the cover for the second issue of Reflex. In 1948, he joined Cobra with Jean-Michel Atlan (1913-1960), where he would actively maintain contacts. His work was included in both the 1949 Amsterdam exhibition and the 1951 Liège exhibition.
