A study in purity and architectural elegance, this white TASCA vase—designed in 1986 by the celebrated Italian designer Lino Sabattini for Rosenthal Studio-Line—captures the essence of sculptural minimalism in porcelain. Design & Concept
Lino Sabattini (1925–2016), widely regarded as one of Italy’s most influential postwar designers and a protégé of Gio Ponti, brought to Rosenthal the same sensibility that made his silverwork for Christofle internationally acclaimed: clarity of form, disciplined sensuality, and a deep understanding of how light animates surface.
In the TASCA series, Sabattini translated the fluid precision of his metalwork into porcelain. This white vase displays the hallmarks of the series:
