A beautiful vintage table lamp made of high-quality Limoges porcelain, manufactured by Porcelaines Ternet (Limoges, France). This elegant piece likely dates from the 1960s-1980s and is a classic example of French porcelain craftsmanship.
The lamp base has a graceful, twisted (spiral-shaped) silhouette with a subtle relief texture, richly decorated with hand-painted flowers (pink and white wild roses/anemone-like flowers with green leaves) and delicate gold accents on the rims and base. The markings on the underside speak volumes:
"LIMOGES FRANCE" in a circle with a monogram
"Porcelaines TERNET Limoges - France"
"Réhaussée main" (hand-heightened/refined by hand – gold and details applied by hand)
This guarantees authenticity and provenance from the renowned Limoges porcelain region. Ternet was a respected, smaller workshop that primarily exported to Europe and the US, focusing on refined decorative objects. Dimensions:
