This modernist rooster gives this plate a whole new dimension and makes it very decorative.
Lurçat was an important painter of the 1930s, we find in his style influences of Picasso with whom he would have frequented.
Exhibited in the 50s/60s in Paris, Hanover and Turin, these ceramics, very original for the time, were very successful.
This modernist and playful piece that we offer remains a highly decorative collector's item. It was published by Porcelaine de Limoges.
It is very well preserved and has almost no defects.
The colors remained bright and beautiful.
