A small tabletop piece that alone encapsulates that particular elegance of Limoges porcelain from the interwar period. A refined shape, color, a few touches of gold, and above all, a great deal of lightness. The gently waisted body features delicate vertical fluting that catches the light and brings movement to the porcelain's whiteness. The beautifully sculpted handle terminates in an elegant volute, while the spout stretches with an almost theatrical curve. These geometric lines help date the piece to around the years , still largely marked by Art Deco influence. It's the floral decoration that immediately catches the eye. A large purple tulip with shades of old rose is accompanied by small blue and cream flowers and delicate foliage. The painter left ample white space around the bouquet, which lends it its full freshness. Delicate gold accents follow the rim, the handle, and the base with just the right touch of elegance. This creamer can naturally find its place on a table, but it is arguably even more captivating with a few small flowers, placed on a dressing table, a bedside table, or a console. A beautiful piece of Limoges porcelain, elegant without being ostentatious, and perfectly representative of French taste from the interwar period. Height approximately 13 cm.
