Four pieces united by the same design: a coffee pot with its lid, a sugar bowl with its lid, a cup and its saucer. A coherent set, from the same manufacturer, which evokes bourgeois tables of the first half of the 20th century. The porcelain is a slightly ivory white, sprinkled with small scattered flowers in blue, mauve, and pink tones. The design is airy, not cluttered. Fine gilded lines highlight the contours and edges of the pieces, whose form exhibits the characteristic rounded shape of the 1940s-1950s, blending classicism and sobriety. The round, almost geometric handles, and the lids with ring-shaped knobs confirm a style typical of Limoges manufacturers of that period. The mark on the reverse, a gilded crest accompanied by the inscription FRANCE, attests to quality French production. The coffee pot measures approximately 22 cm in height, the sugar bowl approximately 14 cm. Some slight traces of time may be present on the gilding, without altering the harmony of the set. A set to display on a tray, to bring out for morning coffee, or to introduce into a home where objects have a story.
