"Sitting on nets" – with the O-Line by designer and last director of the Ulm School of Design, Herbert Ohl, Wilkhahn set new standards: Instead of voluminous upholstery, delicate lightness and transparency in organic forms dominated.

Herbert Ohl studied painting and graphic arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe and subsequently architecture (under Egon Eiermann) at the Technical University. Ohl was, among other things, a freelance architect and designer, director at the University of Design, owner of an architecture and design firm, member of the German Council of Experts for Building Research, director of the Institute for Industrialized Building and the Institute for Environmental Design in Frankfurt, council member and head of planning on the Good Design Award commission, and professor at Pforzheim University of Applied Sciences.

Absolutely breathtaking! These chairs are in museum-quality condition that will make any collector's heart beat faster. They have only minimal signs of wear and look brand new. You have to get very close to see anything.
If you compare the condition of these chairs to other O-Line offerings online, it's a night-and-day difference! You can assume that these chairs are at least one, more likely two grades better than all the others that are often declared "very good condition" but are full of scratches and dents. These are the best you'll currently find worldwide!
These O-Line chairs are perfect for a design enthusiast or collector who is looking for top-notch condition and doesn't want to compromise on quality or have any unpleasant surprises.

TRANSPORTATION
GERMANY / EU / INTERNATIONAL:
We have found that transport via Whoppah courier is sometimes significantly (100-150%) higher than the market price charged by standard furniture moving companies and couriers! We can arrange more affordable transport via a furniture shipping company within Germany, to the Netherlands, to neighboring German countries, or within the EU. Affordable non-EU transport via a freight forwarder in a special wooden crate may also be possible.
