For sale is an original Danish Holstebro lounge sofa in showroom condition, virtually indistinguishable from a brand-new piece!

DESCRIPTION:
The sofa features a solid teak frame consisting of two curved side sections with integrated runners and sculpturally designed armrests, as well as a seat module. The seat module has a fitted frame with upholstered webbing, covered in protective stretch fabric with additional foam padding. It is doweled and screwed to the side sections and is therefore detachable. The comfortable and high-quality cold foam cushions are covered with a very robust premium virgin wool cover in the classic, coarsely woven Salt & Pepper pattern, with a removable zipper. The seams are finished with elegant flat-felled seams (in this type of seam, the individual cover pieces interlock like finger wrestling and are then double-stitched. This seam is therefore considerably more robust, has significantly higher tensile strength, and is considerably more durable than standard single seams). The cushions feature a classic gusset, allowing them to conform to the contours of the back and buttocks, providing a particularly comfortable and ergonomic seating experience.
The abundance of solid teak used, the extremely elaborate side panels, the high-quality upholstery, and the overall craftsmanship all attest to the exceptional value of this piece of furniture. The teak wood has a vibrant grain with a beautiful, visible wood structure.

Note:
The photos are sometimes overexposed to show the pristine condition in detail. This makes reddish tones appear more reddish and colors generally appear lighter. The shadowed areas and those not directly illuminated by the camera light best represent the true colors. Any gloss or grayish/milky areas in the photos are also due to the lighting and/or reflections. The surfaces have a satin to semi-gloss finish.

CONDITION:
Like new! We received this sofa in almost new condition. We performed a light teak restoration by carefully deep-cleaning the wood and re-oiling it with our own specially developed oils. The result is beautiful teak with a vibrant grain, wonderful depth, and a pleasantly warm feel.
We always clean fabric upholstery, even if it has no stains or appears clean. A careful, specialized pure wool cleaning refreshes the colors and gives the furniture a pleasant fragrance.
Result: The sofa is indistinguishable from a new piece of furniture, or at best, only barely. For example, there is no difference between it and the new, still-sealed replacement cushion!
We always clean fabric upholstery, even if it has no stains or appears dirty. This sofa is perfect for a design enthusiast looking for a new piece of furniture and wanting to save a significant amount of money, or for someone seeking top-quality condition at a fair price and unwilling to compromise on its condition.

This sofa is currently produced in a slightly modified form by Dyrlund Denmark (Model 1210). The 3-seater sofa, made of solid teak and pure wool, now costs approximately €6,000 to €6,500.

Affordable non-EU transport via a general cargo carrier in a special wooden crate may also be possible.
