DESCRIPTION:
These executive chairs are very high-quality and expensive pieces. They are upholstered in genuine, buttery-soft premium smooth leather, further enhanced by the elaborate cap stitching and piping.
The frame is made of polished aluminum and chrome-plated steel tubing, making the chair lightweight yet very stable. The beautifully curved armrests with the surrounding horizontal bar on the back feature intricately crafted solid wood inlays in black, which are flush-mounted. The tilt mechanism's return force is variably adjustable via a rotary knob, and the tilt can be further secured with individual detents using a lever. A second pivot point decouples the backrest from the seat, allowing it to ergonomically adapt to the spine. The backrest features additional padding in the head area and a freely suspended, body-contouring mesh fabric on the back.
The modern star base in a rocket design incorporates a gas spring integrated as the central column, which is freely adjustable via a lever. Chrome casters at the base's ends underscore its premium character.
This exquisite chair is particularly well-suited for upscale commercial settings. In private homes, it is a special addition for those who appreciate high-quality and elegant furniture. It pairs beautifully with USM Haller desks and is a popular choice not only for interior designers.

ART.COLLECTION's roots go back to 1946. Hermann Schwarz founded the company, which he renamed "Dreipunkt" in 1962. The ART.COLLECTION brand was relaunched in 1976 as a manufacturer of the most exclusive and elegant office furniture. To cover the premium segment, the Haworth Group acquired ART.COLLECTION in 1999.

CONDITION:
Almost like new! The chair is in impeccable and excellent condition, both technically and visually. It was only used sporadically and shows hardly any signs of wear. The leather is like new, with no stains, scratches, tears, or holes, and is completely odorless. It's virtually indistinguishable from a new chair.
This swivel chair comes from the boardroom of a South German energy supplier, and its quality and condition reflect this. Therefore, please don't compare it to the usual nicks and scratches of regularly used office chairs. This is in a completely different league, a perfect 10/10!
This chair is perfect for the design enthusiast who seeks top-quality craftsmanship combined with pristine condition at a reasonable price, but doesn't want to take any risks or encounter unpleasant surprises regarding its condition!

Unfortunately, the exact price is unknown. Since it was positioned as a premium high-back chair in direct competition with the Vitra Alu Chair, it was likely priced above €2,000.

We have found that transport via Whoppah courier is sometimes significantly (100-150%) higher than the market price charged by standard furniture shipping companies and couriers! We can arrange more affordable transport via a furniture shipping company within Germany, to the Netherlands, to neighboring German countries, or within the EU, if necessary. Even inexpensive non-EU shipping via freight forwarder in a special wooden crate may be possible.
