DESCRIPTION:
The Rolf Benz 355 exudes a spaciousness that is both visible and tangible. A deep seat, adjustable armrests, and wonderfully comfortable back cushions promise relaxation in grand style. A new favorite spot with sophistication and elegance that is particularly effective in a spacious setting.
CONSTRUCTION:
- Body cover quilted with polyester fleece and covered with polyether foam
- Backrest made of polyether foam
- Down-like back cushion, chambered with a filling of foam rods and polyester fibers
- Seat made of polyether foam, layered in different heights and densities, covered with polyester fleece
- Side panels adjustable to three positions via a ratchet mechanism

MATERIAL:
Naturally grained cowhide nappa leather, originally grown, unique in its pattern of pores, scars, and surface texture, drum-dyed in aniline, lightly pigmented (semi-aniline), easy to care for, durable yet soft and supple, offering high longevity and Lasting Value.
A Little Leather Knowledge: "Not all leather is created equal!"
Please do not compare this leather to leather that has been artificially grained. Artificially grained leather is made by pressing the lower layers of the animal hide (split leather) through heated steel rollers. The rollers have a surface designed to mimic the natural grain of leather, creating an artificial grain (embossing) on the originally smooth leather through pressure and heat.
The furniture is often advertised as "genuine leather," which is technically correct. However, this does not guarantee high quality; it is by no means a seal of quality, but simply indicates that it is not synthetic leather! This leather is also characterized by relatively high wear; with normal use, the grain disappears after some time. Furthermore, it feels cold and often quite rubbery due to the thick application of dye. The difference in quality is also evident in the price; it costs only about a third of the price of high-quality leather at the tanneries, as it is essentially considered reject or third-rate leather in the conventional sense.

The photos are overexposed to show the pristine condition in detail! This generally makes colors appear lighter, and black appears grayer. The shadowed areas, or those not directly illuminated by the camera light, best represent the true colors. Any gloss or grayish or milky areas in the photos are also due to the lighting and illumination (reflections). The surfaces have a satin finish.

CONDITION:
Like new, showroom condition! Any signs of wear? None, or if any, so minimal that we didn't notice them! The leather is a dream! Buttery soft. You'll not only see the difference compared to other 355 sofas offered online (scratches, numerous creases, pressure marks, pressure lines, standard leather), but you'll also feel it!
Currently, it's certainly by far the best available on the market. Just the thing for a design enthusiast who demands pristine condition and refuses to compromise on quality!

Please do not compare this sofa to the price of Rolf Benz sofas with artificial leather grain, e.g., the Advantage Edition with the 60s entry-level leather or the standard leather of the 34 or 36 series. This sofa is in a completely different league of quality!
