Product description
In the late 1990s, several pieces of pressed glass were reported without attribution, with vivid and often breathtaking iridescence.
People were intrigued by them and tried to unravel the apparent mystery behind them. Who made them, where did they come from, how old were they?
Here is the label on the vase "Eye of the Peacock.
There are other, different LGW labels, and our initial research into this glassmaker was based on the German labels affixed to some LGW items.

Our research led us to the European expert in pressed glass, Siegmar Geiselberger, and in 2000 we published the following article in our magazine Carnival NetworK, explaining to the glass world exactly what these fascinating items were.
