‘False Idol #3’ by New Zealand artist Levi Hawken. This piece is number 015 from a limited edition of 200 and was inspected and approved in March 2023.
The sculpture is handcrafted from mahogany wood and measures 18 × 18 × 60 cm (w × d × h). The work is part of Hawken’s ‘False Idols’ series, which centers on fictional deities that have not yet evolved into religions. Influences of Brutalism and urban architecture are recognizable in his work, with a strong focus on form, structure, and open spaces.
