A rare print, hand-signed by the Surrealist artist Leonor Fini, whose work continues to rise in value thanks to the renewed interest in women artists. It depicts a magnificent, mysterious nude woman holding flowers. Her pose evokes the Symbolist figures with stylized hairstyles that Gustav Klimt painted in the famous Beethoven Frieze in Vienna.
The harmony of colors is remarkable and reminiscent of the works of Odilon Redon and Pierre-Auguste Renoir.

About Leonor Fini:
Alongside Leonora Carrington, Remedios Varo, Jacqueline Lamba, and Claude Lalanne, Leonor Fini was one of the most prominent and flamboyant figures of the Surrealist movement. Many consider her the most fiercely independent female artist of the 20th century.
At the age of 17, she had already mastered the great masters of the Renaissance and Mannerist painting. In 1931, at only 24, she moved to Paris where she befriended the influential artists Giorgio de Chirico and Carlo Carrà. She also began a romantic relationship with the Surrealist pioneer Max Ernst, who introduced her to the leading members of the movement.
Her work and flamboyant personality attracted the attention of many major figures of the 20th century, including Salvador Dalí, Jean Cocteau, Albert Camus, and Jean Genet.
