Leolux won the 2008 Reddot Award for product design for the Rising Dunes seating program (design: Braun & Maniatis). Leolux's description at the time:
"With Rising Dunes, Braun & Maniatis created seating elements that rise from the residential landscape like dunes. A challenging and strong image that appeals to a sense of style and, like a cocoon, offers protection from the turmoil of the world outside."
The arrangement consists of 3 parts: a left part 3-seater, one and a right part 3-seater with footboard and a separate part that can be clicked in between. The sofa has adjustable back and arm parts. The sofa is in dark brown very thick leather, with beige stitching. The sofa is in perfect condition with creasing on the favorite seats.
The size of the sofa as pictured is approx. 2.80 x 2.80 excluding the separate part of 0.75 m wide. The seat height is 38 cm. The legs under the sofa have a stainless steel finish. It also comes with two additional cushions in the same leather and stitching.
The new price of this sofa at the time (2010) was 16,155 euros.
