The story of Poltrona Frau is also the story of the many Italian and international architects and designers who have collaborated with the company over the years. Some have signed a single project, others have gradually built up a longer, more consistent career. Tito Agnoli was born in Lima (Peru) in 1931 and graduated in architecture in Milan. He works mainly as an industrial designer. He was an assistant to Ponti and De Carli at the Faculty of Architecture in Milan and taught at the Istituto d'Arte in Lissone. He has twice been nominated for the Compasso d'Oro award and won the gold medal at NeoCon in Chicago. He began working with Poltrona Frau in 1974, designing models that achieved great commercial success.
