Two so-called 'vide poches' designed by Le Corbusier in collaboration with Charlotte Perriand.
Although these glass objects are currently primarily referred to and used as 'vide poches' (containers), they are essentially glass building blocks that were used by Le Corbusier in a number of his iconic architectural designs.
This concerns the two sizes in which this building block was used.
The large version is 15x15x8 cm (marked LUMAX RECUIT).
The smaller one is 12x12x6 cm (marked LUMAX).
The fact that these two were also used as vide poches for a long time has resulted in light scratches on the underside (actually the visible side of the glass building block); please see the photos for details.
Otherwise in beautiful condition.
A great opportunity to acquire two iconic glass building blocks at once.
