The Iconic “Le Bambole” collection by Mario Bellini also features this amazing kingsize foldable bed: “The Bambolettone”. The bed can be used as a daybed, lounge sofa, dormeuse, and ofcourse as a bed, which it was originally designed for.
The ‘Le Bambole’ collection was awarded the 1979 ‘Compasso d’Oro’ award. An example of Le Bambole is included in MoMA’s permanent collection.
