A beautiful and unique vintage Asian Lazy Susan (rotating platter / serving dish) in the classic red and black lacquer style.
What makes this set truly special and rare is the built-in and perfectly working music mechanism! When you wind up the set, the platter rotates smoothly and plays an atmospheric melody. Ideal as an eye-catcher on the table during parties, Chinese New Year, or simply as a unique collector's item.
The set is decorated with the traditional, hand-painted 'Karako' motif (playing children) and features beautiful gold details along the edges.
Details and condition:
Completeness: Fully complete with the large rotating platter, 5 removable bowls with lids, and the central round lid.
Condition: In very neat vintage condition. The lacquer still shines beautifully and the images are very well preserved (see photos for details).
Technology: The wind-up music and rotating mechanism still works excellently and plays the music clearly. Use: Perfect for serving tapas, candy, snacks, chocolates, or dried fruit.
