Danica Lanterna Pendant Light - Jurgen Buchwald - Nordlux
Denmark - 1970
∅ 50cm - H 15cm
A majestic and iconic Danish pendant light, a testament to Scandinavian design, created by Jurgen Buchwald and produced by Nordisk Solar in the 1970s and 80s.
Featuring five shades, it diffuses a soft and discreet light, a hallmark of multi-shade lighting. The system is designed to create glare-free lighting that projects a directional light downwards and a slightly diffused light to the sides.
Excellent craftsmanship in white lacquered steel, with black lacquered rods and screws.
Very good condition, no deformation, slight signs of wear consistent with age, imperceptible once the lamp is hung.
