2 Large and heavy mouth blown Murano pendant lamps from the 1970s. The lamps have hung from a system ceiling and have no ceiling cap. The lamps have an extra steel wire due to the weight. The glass is in new condition. The steel wire holders are a bit weathered and the cord is minimally yellowed. The lamps have a diameter of 40 cm. and are 32 cm. high. The length with cord is total 2.10. The weight of 1 lamp is 4.7 kilos. I searched through google for pictures to trace this lamp and was able to find 1 that would have been made by Kalmar. I sent photos to Kalmar asking if these are Kalmar lamps and what the current value is. Below is the reply: One of our vintage items bears a resemblance to your lamps, but it appears not to be one of ours. The mounting method of the shade differs, as it was designed to balance the weight of the hand-shaped glass shades. Based on our assessment, we would estimate the selling price to be between EUR 800.00 and EUR 1,200.00. Kind regards, Bianca Knarr Head of Kalmar Project - Buildings
