Large vintage elephant, rare sculpture in this size, made of papier maché and covered with black leather, the elephant has white plastic tusks and plastic eyes, completely in the style of Omersa of Liberty of London, circa 70-80s. Banana for scale!
This statue has very nice proportions and details, the muscles and bones are nicely and accurately rendered, the whole thing bears a nice age patina.
