Sold without lampshade. Very beautiful large table lamp from the French house Le Dauphin, model "Vérone", Lotus Lamp, reference 1216, original label preserved under the base. Vintage from the 1970s. Important rectangular burgundy base with a glossy lacquered finish, resting on a square golden metal plinth and topped with a spectacular stylized artichoke motif in golden brass. Beautiful and very decorative construction, mixing geometric lines of the base and sculptural plant forms, typical of Le Dauphin creations from this period. E27 socket, European plug, functional lamp.46.5cm high with the socket, 40cm high without the socket. Very good general condition. Some rare small spots and traces of use on the golden metal. The burgundy finish plates show some slight cracks at some edges, remaining discreet. The base has a slight play on its plinth and can turn slightly, the locking ring for the lampshade is split, without affecting its stability or use.
