Large Vintage Jumping Jacks (49cm) from 1974 – Handmade – Set of 2
Description
For sale is this charming duo from the mid-1970s. These two XL jumping jacks impress with their detailed, nostalgic design and their considerable size of approximately 49 cm. Width: male 36 cm; female 29 cm; depth approximately 0.8 cm at the points where the arms and body meet, approximately 0.4 cm on the body alone.

Dimensions: Impressive height of approximately 49 cm per figure.
Handmade: Crafted from thin plywood (fretwork).
Design: Beautiful couple in coordinated shades of green. He wears a top hat, bow tie, and a walking stick; she wears a floral dress with a matching hat.
Dating: The date stamp 18.05.74 is found on the back of the male figure.
Mounting: Both figures have a convenient wall mount on the back.
Condition:
For their age of over 50 years, the figures are in good, authentic condition with a charming patina.
The joints and string mechanism function perfectly.
Important note: The small wooden ball is missing from the end of the pull string on the female figure (it is still present on the male figure). This can easily be replaced with a standard bead. There are no wood chips, only superficial, age-related paint wear on the edges/shoes and minimal wear in a few places on the body, which emphasizes the vintage character. (Paint wear was not an option under "signs of use," so I checked "chipping").
A real eye-catcher for collectors of vintage toys or as a unique retro-style wall decoration!
