This impressive floor lamp was created from an original handled vase by the German manufacturer AK Keramik (Alfred Klein). The vase bears the typical "Klein" mark on the base and is an authentic piece of West German Pottery from the 1960s/70s – crafted in classic studio ceramic quality with a characteristic relief surface and harmonious glaze.
Why AK Keramik / Alfred Klein?
The "Klein" mark on the base most likely indicates Alfred Klein or AK Keramik – a small but well-documented manufacturer within the West German Pottery community. Typical features include handcrafted relief forms, vibrant glazes, and individual details. AK Keramik pieces are increasingly valued by collectors and design enthusiasts today.
